Crayola to retire shade from 24-count box on National Crayon Day

Is Crayola ready to sink carnation pink? Or will scarlet get scrapped?

The crayon maker recently announced that it "will retire a color from its iconic 24-count crayon box" for the "first time in its 100+ year history."

According to WPIX, the box includes the following shades: apricot, black, blue, blue green, blue violet, brown, carnation pink, cerulean, dandelion, gray, green, green yellow, indigo, orange, red, red orange, red violet, scarlet, violet, violet red, white, yellow, yellow green and yellow orange.
