Archways, curved nooks, rounded corners, circular paver brick patio along with natural stone accents and terrazzo flooring enhances the Mediterranean design of this two-story home in Washington Twp.

Listed for $599,900 by Irongate Inc. Realtors, the stucco-and-stone home at 1417 Ashbury Park Place has about 3,670 square feet of living space with a full, finished, walk-out lower level and a first-floor main bedroom.

The arches and curved details start outside at the formal entry where etched glass door and sidelights are accented by curved windows above the door. Inside the curves and arches continue with a reverse tray ceiling above the formal dining room, which has accent columns from the foyer. French doors open from the foyer to the executive office with a wall of built-in cabinetry, including a desk and bookcases.

Curves and archways continue within the two-story great room. One wall has lighted arched artwork nooks, a gas fireplace and an entertainment center with in-cabinet speakers. An arched cutout opens into the kitchen and two arched walkways lead to the kitchen and breakfast room.

The kitchen has two walls of granite countertops and cabinetry plus a long island with glass-pane cabinetry at the end. The kitchen has a gas cooktop, wall ovens, microwave, trash compactor, dishwasher and refrigerator. There is a pantry closet and a double-door closet. The breakfast room has patio doors that open out to a balcony deck with steps that lead down to the paver patio.

Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a full wall folding counter with tile countertop and cabinet and drawer storage. There is a half bath, which has two curved corners and stone accents above the pedestal sink.

Tucked back off the great room is the entrance to the main bedroom. The bedroom has a tray ceiling and double doors that open to the private bathroom, which has a U-shaped vanity with double sinks, make-up desk and tile countertops. A whirlpool tub is below an etched-glass window, and the walk-in shower has a curved entrance to the stone surround shower with seat. A walk-in closet has built-in storage.

An open wooden staircase with carpet runner and wrought-iron railing leads to a catwalk hallway where three bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located. Two bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath while the third bedroom has a private bath and a walk-in closet.

The lower level has been finished into a recreation room divided by a three-sided gas fireplace. The fireplace has a raised hearth and curved media nooks. Etched glass windows and doors open off the family room out to the circular patio. The recreation part has a kitchenette with wet bar that seats six.

Support columns have circular table wraps. A short hallway off the recreation room leads to a theater room with theater seating, etched-glass accent windows and dimmer lights.

There is a bonus room with closet that could be a possible fifth bedroom. A full bathroom has a walk-in shower.
