Dayton teen wins national design contest

Dayton teen-ager Leah Williams is the winner of a fashion design contest sponsored by Twist magazine.

Leah, 13, designed a T-shirt,she called “Live the Life in Paris.” She said she likes the contrast of black and white in her shirt and the ‘imagery’ in it.

“In the future, I would like to become a fashion designer,” Leah said. “I would like to keep on creating new clothes.”

As the winner of The Ultimate Fashion Contest, she is named featured designer for a holiday collection featuring her digital designs.

She also will appear in Twist magazine.

The contest had over 5,600 original design entries.

Leah’s winning t-shirt design “Live the life in Paris” will be available for all girls around the country to buy on a limited edition basis at www.estToday.com.
