Go Fourth and taste wines this weekend, starting with one of Ohio’s newest wineries
In addition to the patriotic and lengthy list of wine tastings and events compiled by a local wine listserv detailed below, check out a tasting of the wines of La Vigna Estate Winery, one of Ohio’s newest wineries located in southern Ohio near Georgetown (check out the La Vigna Facebook page). The tasting will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. TODAY, Friday July 1, at the Englewood Kroger Marketplace at 885 Union Blvd. And a hearty welcome to the wine-tastings list to Deaf Monty’s Wine Bar and Wine Shop in the Oregon District, which we wrote about earlier this week.
Then after making those discoveries — which speak volumes about the vibrant nature of the wine scene in Dayton and southwest Ohio — consider the following, and enjoy the holiday weekend!
