Help welcome winery reps from Italy, California to Dayton
What are YOU doing after work today?
Representatives from Italy and California have made their way to the Miami Valley and are pouring their wines TONIGHT, and if you know of something else interesting happening this evening, please post a comment and let us know! Here are details of the two I know about:
At Rumbleseat Wines from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight, March 16, the winemaker from Giovanni Manzone estate in the Piedmont region of Italy (think Barolo and other Nebbiolo-based wines, along with Barbera and Dolcetto) will be on hand to pour his wines. A video of Rumbleseat owners Tom and Debbie Smith’s visit to Manzone’s vineyards is available on the Rumbleseat media page.
And from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. tonight (3-16-11) at the The Wine Gallery Wine Shop and Bistro, Mari Wells Coyle of the David Girard Vineyards will pour a selection of Girard wines.
So many wines, so little time, here in the epicenter of the wine world that is Dayton, Ohio …

I only support American wine…be it red, white, or blue.

I supported the Russian River wineries this past weekend with their barrel tasting. Tasted over 200 wines at 23 wineries. It was so much fun. Still enjoying some California sunshine.
