Holiday tastings: rolling out the red carpet
Check out the amazing wines that Dayton-area retailers and restaurants are uncorking to help us celebrate the holidays, in this list that comes to Uncorked courtesy of an overworked and underappreciated Dayton-based wine listserv.
There are some changes to regular schedules this weekend: Arrow Wine’s Far Hills store, for example, will not have its regular Saturday tasting tomorrow, Dec. 18 (sigh …), but will try to make it up to us with a Champagne tasting next Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (ahhhhh …) That’s the night after its neighbor, Dorothy Lane Market’s Oakwood store, hosts its Champagne and sparkling wine tasting from 5:30 to 8:30 on Tuesday, Dec. 28.
