Carvers wine dinner to pour ‘Wines from Around the World’

CARVERS TO HOST WINE DINNER WASHINGTON TWP., Montgomery County — Carvers, 1535 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, will host a “Wines From Around The World” four-course dinner at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. The dinner will be hosted by Chris Dodgen of Terlato Wines International and by Carvers chef William Pence. The menu will consist of Lake Erie Walleye Poached in White Wine and Garlic; House Smoked Duck Breast with Late Harvest Greens, Pomegranate, and Parmigiano Reggiano; Alpine Pepper Lamb with Thyme Scented Jus, Fingerling Potato and Haricot Verts; and Roasted Chestnut Dark Chocolate Sorbet. The cost is $70 plus tax and gratuity. Reservations required. For reservations, call Michael Parks at (937) 433-7099.
