Famous beermaker celebrates 250th birthday today

Guess who turns 250 today? Yes, two-hundred-and-fifty?

It’s Guinness, the Dublin-based brewery known for its dark, robust brews. More details available at this piece from discoverireland.com.

Plans call for a “global toast.” Will you raise a glass?

Bought a 6 pack of 250 as soon as it was out, bought many more since. Had 250 draft at the Celtic Fest this year(only one booth had it). Awesome! Happy B-Day!

As Ben Franklin said, “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy”. Happy Birthday, Guinness!

Enjoyed some of the Guinness 250th Anniversary Stout earlier this year. I wasn’t thinking ahead enought to get more than a 6 pack and the next time I went back it was GONE. I’ll have to toast with some other Guinness today.
