Dr. Vino delivers the robust give-and-take you won’t find on erobertparker.com

As a blogger who occasionally struggles with decisions on how to moderate the comments posted on my blog’s entries, I find this entry from the Dr. Vino blog entitled “The X’d files: an exchange not seen on eRobertParker.com” fascinating.

By the way, I have a journalism degree too — and I I most assuredly did NOT graduate summa cum laude.

Pour yourself a glass of wine for this one.

Nice to spread the love to Dr. Vino. The X’d File post spawned an even more fascinating one that challenges the whole fabric of the Wine Advoacte’s ethics policies with respect to Jay Miller and Mark Squires.

Hilarious stuff, but at the same time very sad. I was surprised that Thomas Mathews, editor of the Wine Spectator, took the time to chime in. I would think his time would be better spent checking the credentials of fictitious restaurants applying for a Grand Award Certificate.
