Wine event Monday will raise money for WDPR-FM

I should have included this in the introduction to Friday’s wine tastings list, but I failed to do so. But if you’re looking for something to do on a Monday night …

Classical 88.1 WDPR will host a Spring Wine Tasting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 2, at The Wine Gallery & Cafe, located at the corner of Third and Wayne Avenue in downtown Dayton’s Cannery District.

The event will feature a tasting of five or six wines, food and live entertainment by the local Blackbird Quartet. Proceeds benefit Classical 88.1. The cost is $25. To make your reservation, call Jill at (937) 222-9377 or visit www.dpr.org.
