More nuisance news
West Chester Twp. Trustees are continuing their work on addressing property maintenance issues in the community.
Four properties will be considered to be declared public nuisances. They are:
- 7952 Oak Leaf Circle, a vacant house in foreclosure with a large brush pile in the front yard;
- 7715 Jonathon Court, a vacant house in foreclosure with a large tree split during the September wind storm and uncleaned debris left in the front yard;
- 6908 Dimmick Road, a vacant house in foreclosure with high grass and weeds in the yard and a “dilapidated” wooden structure on the property, and;
- 7761 Bonnie Drive, a vacant house in foreclosure with an aluminum awning in the back yard blown off the home during the wind storm, damaged gutters and various uncleaned brush.
Trustees made local news when in January they declared the former Knights Inn a public nuisance. Read that story here.
Trustees are also expected to get an update to progress on a deal that could bring savings on electric bills. Read more about that story here.
