Recycling bins soon to have permanent homes

During last week’s West Chester Twp. trustee meeting, township administrator Judi Boyko noted the warm reception residents have given the township’s recycling drop-off locations. The program has been so successful the township requested more bins at the sites and more frequent pick-up by service provider Rumpke.

Construction at the Public Safety Campus moved one of the drop-off sites, first to the old site of The Feed Barn, then to Keehner Park. As the fire station nears completion, though, the township will soon announce permanent locations for the recycling drop bins.

Do you use the township’s recycling services? Does your community offer another service to deal with your recyclables? What works, what doesn’t? Share your thoughts.
