Slurry issues?

I got a call from a township resident today, expressing concern about a planned road slurrying project in her neighborhood. She said the slurry laid down in other parts of her neighborhood has made the roads rough, unable to be salted by plow trucks and prone to flaking off into gutters or being tracked into homes.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone out there have problems with crack slurry used on their roads? Does anyone feel like the treatment helped their roads?
