Progress at the Public Safety Campus

In case you haven’t driven down Cincinnati-Dayton Road in a long while, there’s a significant building going up there. I’ve reported quite a bit about the Public Safety Campus, the building near the corner if Cin-Day and West Chester roads that will house fire headquarters, Fire Station One, township communications and IT staff and cemetery maintenance. It’s a hefty building, and is designed to be both a local civic fixture and a very good place to go in a disaster.

The facility is on track for completion this fall, and it’s starting to take on its final shape, with a tall training tower and arcing roof lines that I expect will show up in township promoting photos and images, much as the Square @ Union Centre’s clock tower has done over the past year.

I took a tour of the Public Safety Campus Friday, and posted a gallery of photos from the tour. Take a look, and share your thoughts on this significant new building.
