Township restaurant to go the coffeehouse route Saturday night
I received a note a few days ago from the folks at local coffeehouse/restaurant Tazza Mia (not familiar with the place? read the story I wrote on them when they opened earlier this year). They’re adding music to their offerings, with a performance 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. It’s part of a move, I’ve been told, to encourage more folks to visit the popular breakfast and lunch spot in the evening.
From experience, I can tell you that while the coffee is quite good, they also have a tasty pot roast sandwich on the lunch/dinner side of things, and their menu does include several dinner-type dishes.
So are you a Tazza Mia fan? Have you tried it in the evening, or just for the morning cup of go-juice? Post a comment, and let everyone know what you think of the place.

It’s a great place! Their coffee and breakfast muffins with poppy seeds are excellent. I have held meetings their on Saturday mornings - it’s always good. They staff are friendly.

Their coffee is amazing! Doesn’t have that burnt taste of the Starbucks and is roasted fresh in the store. We use them for catering at our office and the panini’s and salads are perfect. Especially the Italian one with fresh mozzarella and basil. Reese’s cookies are really addicting too, and a hit for catering.

Cool atmosphere, great coffee (Much better than $tarbuck$), wifi and a ton of electrical outlets for your laptop (unlike Panera) - if only they served food there! (Oh yeah…teriffic food!) Tazza has it goin’ on.

I love the freshness. You literally can not get a fresher cup of coffee anywhere. They roast it in the store! Starbucks and Caribou can’t give you that. It’s affordable, and the chicken pesto is my favorite. Unlike the “other” places mentioned, you can’t go there and get a great cup of coffee AND muffins or scones baked in the store, or a panini, soup or salad. It’s a place to get both. It’s a great concept, I hope they do well. The staff is super friendly, I just started going there and they already know my name and what I drink!!

Great coffee. They have friendly service. Drive thru is quick in the morning. Affordable, quality meals for lunch. Great spot to relax in the evening and who can beat free wi-fi and free refills!

Coffee is fantastic! Free wi-fi is something everyone should offer! Grab a cup of coffee, your laptop, and one of the leather chairs with dual swivel trays. Best coffee shop chair I have ever seen!

Great coffee, food and atmosphere. A stop at Tazza Mia has replaced Starbucks as part of my weekday morning routine. On weekends, I often stay awhile and work on my laptop (free wifi) while I enjoy the coffee and snacks. Love the Pot Roast panini!

Tazza Mia is such a find. My favorites are the cappuccino and freddos. They are so delicious and flavorful-so much better than Starbucks. It’s great for lunch and a light dinner. I agree the pot roast panini melts in your mouth but try the italian caprese with the prosciutto—so fresh. I’m so glad to have Tazza Mia in the neighborhood, great place to chill and do a bit of reading.

News alert: Tazza Mia is a winner!! I don’t know who came up with the concept for the store, but it’s the perfect place to satisfy both your caffeine & gastronomic cravings all at once. If you haven’t yet been, you are undoubtedly missing out. Better watch out Cincinnati, there’s a new sheriff in town.
