New Italian restaurant to open next week in Kettering
A new Italian restaurant that we first told you about back in November has a name and an opening date: Toscani’s is scheduled to open Tuesday, Feb. 15 at the former Bosco’s location at 5900 Bigger Road in south Kettering.
Toscani’s owner Mefail “Meef” Demnika, who also owns Palermo’s Restaurant at 2667 S. Dixie Drive in the northwest corner of Kettering, said he had several customers of Palermo’s encourage him to open a second restaurant closer to Dayton’s southern suburbs.
Toscani’s seats 96 people. Its menu will include steaks, chicken and veal marsala, pastas and salads, Demnika said. The restaurant will offer a special deal Feb. 15-17 that will allow diners to buy one item from the food menu and get half off a second item, he said.
The restaurant’s hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday.
