New BBQ restaurant opens with ‘big plans’ for future

Check out the story written by my Dayton Daily News colleague Doug Page for This Thursday’s (11-19-09) Englewood edition of the Neighbors section headlined ‘Oinkadoodlemoo’ barbecue small ‘but has big plans’ about the new Oinkadoodlemoo restaurant at 322 Union Road in Englewood.

The restaurant’s owners may have one of the most unusual eatery names in recent memory, but they certainly sound like they’re serious about their barbecue.

My wife and I went to Oinkadoodlemoo on the evening of the article. I new what to expect, because the article of this type always stirs up a lot of interest. We got the last 1/2 fab o ribs and the last 1/2 chicken. Both were absolutely fabulous. The team their has a winner on their hands. We will be sure to go back and try some of the other selections. You will not be let down.. the BBQ is fantastic. They have their own “lingo” that adds a bit of uniqueness and the decor is fitting for a small town BBQ joint… although it does have a tinge of a “50’s diner to it. All is good, we give it two (sauce covered) thumbs up. Jambalayaman New Lebanon, OH
