Eaton raises average to .402
Adam Eaton, a 2007 Kenton Ridge graduate, raised his average to a season-high .402 by going 3-for-3 with four runs scored Monday for Single-A Visalia (Calif.).
Eaton is hitting .500 in his last 10 games. His season on-base percentage is .509. He has three homers, three triples, 11 doubles, 21 RBIs and 15 stolen bases.
A 19th-round pick last June by the Arizona Diamondbacks, Eaton now leads the California league in batting average and on-base percentage. Complete stats.
