Eaton on DL with concussion

Kenton Ridge graduate Adam Eaton was put on the seven-day disabled list after being hit in the head by a pitch April 28. He was hitting .333 for Single-A Visalia (Calif.) at the time of the injury. From AZCentral.com:

Visalia OF Adam Eaton suffered a concussion on Thursday night when he was hit in the head with a fastball. “He stayed in for another at-bat but then he started feeling sick,” farm director Mike Bell said. “He’ll probably miss seven to 10 days.” To replace him, the club is promoting OF Keon Broxton from South Bend. He’ll be with Visalia tonight.
