Wittenberg freshman Jaclyn Willoughby was named North Coast Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week on Sunday

Willoughby, a Houston High School graduate, scored 33 points against Kenyon Saturday. It was the second-highest single-game total in Wittenberg history and the most by a freshman. She had 27 points in the second half alone, and that is also a school record.

Willoughby’s previous season high was 15 points. She’s now averaging 8.2 points per game. The Tigers beat Kenyon 74-65 to improve to 8-7 and 3-2 in the NCAC.
