Eaton continues hitting streak in Single-A
Kenton Ridge graduate Adam Eaton is hitting .458, the eighth-best average in the Pioneer League, after his first week in professional baseball.
Playing for the Missoula Osprey, a Single-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Eaton has a hit in all seven games. Counting his final 23 games at Miami University, he’s on a 30-game hitting streak.
He has three doubles, a triple, four RBIs and seven runs scored. He leads the team with three stolen bases in four attempts.
Missoula is 2-5. Eaton was Arizona’s 19th-round selection in the June draft.
