Urbana 10th, KR 12th in latest baseball poll
Kenton Ridge moved from 22nd to 12th, and Urbana (13-4) went from unranked to 10th in Division II in the latest Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association poll, released today, April 27.
The Cougars are 15-3 after losing twice to Bellbrook on Saturday. Kenton Ridge is 7-0 in the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail Division and is tied for first with Bellefontaine (14-3), which is ranked third in D-II.
Springfield (11-7) fell from 10th to 33rd in Division I.
The No. 1 teams are Strongsville (D-I), Walsh Jesuit (D-II), Hamilton Badin (D-III) and Ironton St. Joseph Central (D-IV).

how in the world is urbana ahead of kr when kr beat their ace 5 to 3 earlier this year and they have a better record?

I think it is because of the schedule KR has faced thus far. Urbana has done well against some tough teams.
