Free fishing at George Rogers Clark Park
Hosterman Lake, located in the back of George Rogers Clark Park, is a quiet place to get away. The fishing can be fun, too.
I recently spent a day at Hosterman Lake and caught a couple bluegill. Yes, I realize the fish pictured isn’t the largest in Clark County, but it’s all about the quest, right?
The lake access is good and the scenery is excellent. And it’s all free. Bluegill are easy to catch at Hosterman Lake, and it’s got a good population of bass. Make sure the bass are catch-and-release so everyone can enjoy the catch.

Is it still recognized nationally as a gay park?
