The return of the Santa Claw
The world’s largest claw game named for St. Nick’s claw is heading to New York just in time for the holiday season.
Dayton’s Real Art Design Group’s Santa Claw will be part of gadget blog Gizmodo.com’s Gizmodo Gallery in the Big Apple.
Internet users can play the remote-controlled claw game Dec. 5 to 11 at thesantaclaw.com.
The creative agency located at 520 E. First St. launched the interactive game in January and people “lined up” to play it.
More than 330,000 people visited the Santa Claw site from as far way as the Australian and African continents.
The game gives users a shot at grabbing toys and other prizes with a 17 feet by 8 feet by 12 feet claw using their computer’s mouse or keyboard.
Gizmodo covers the gadgets and technology world. It calls its gallery in Manhattan “the best of Gizmodo, come to life.” Several other innovative developments will be featured.
