Episode of ‘Hoarders’ featuring local home airs Monday
A&E will air the episode of “Hoarders” we told you about that features a Dayton resident named “Roi ” and his packed home 9 p.m. Monday.
Beavercreek resident Chris Tung was a production assistant on the show. Lori Firsdon’s Centerville-based company Forte Organizers (formerly Encore Professional Organizers) helped with the show.
A teaser to the episode is posted on the Hoarders web site. The house is called dangerous. Beams are buckling and Roi says all you see is a wall of stuff.
This will be the second Hoarders episode recorded in Dayton.
A July episodes featured a St. Anne’s Hill resident name “Carol.” What do you think?

i think the next episode in dayton should be on crack hoarders or maybe food stamp hoarders. id say do a empty beer bottle hoarder episode but they dispose of those on all the vacant lots.

Unfortunately a side-effect of this cleanup meant finding out that the house was too shaky for continued habitation and needed to be condemned, leaving the guy essentially homeless. Hopefully he’s been able to work it out with the insurance company or else his family may be regretting inviting the show to come film.

Wow…they condemned the man’s house? That is horrible.

I don’t think Dayton Ohio needs any more negative publicity

Before anyone jumps to the conclusion that the show had a negative impact on Roi, please watch the episode. I will also say that he is doing much better now and has made a lot of progress.

The first thing about Hoarders is that they are lazy. The first step is to clean up your crap when it happens, not boo hoo all this depression crap and go hide in your bed.
