“The Tiger Accident App” helps users collect vital information when they experience an accident. They can take photos, record their gps location, and forward information to police and rescue. It can also call 9-1-1.

The free App focuses on motor vehicle accidents, slips and falls, workers’ compensation injuries and dog bites and is available through the local law firm of Dyer, Garofalo, Mann and Schultz.

Links to both the Android Market and the iTunes Store can be found at www.ohiotiger.com

A few years ago, they ran a commercial… claiming you didn’t even need to get BIT by a dog to sue someone. I hate their commercials, their ambulance chasing ways. Not everything is worth suing over.

Tort reform now!

This law firm helped my family when my insurance company told me that they couldn’t get me the money I needed to pay off Hundreds Of Thousands of dollars after a devastating accident. They are NOT ambulance chasers, or bad people. They do good things for people who need help. They went up against my insurance company and got my medical bills paid. Otherwise, my family and I would have had to sell our house. Insurance companies want you to think they’re on your side… but they aren’t. People like Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz change lives for the better. They really do!

It must be easy to judge people if you’ve never been in true need of help. I agree, there are some law firms out there who are out for their own personal gain… but let me ask you this. When you pay PREMIUMS EVERY MONTH to an insurance company who is meant to help you in the tragic event of an accident and they find “fine print” in your policy that says they don’t have to… who is going to pay? Who is going to hold YOUR insurance company accountable? B/C many of the people I’ve personally dealt w/at this law firm came from the Insurance industry with the intention of leveling the playing field for people who were being screwed over by their insurance company… people like my family. Do you have 25,000 dollars laying around for an accident? B/C if the person who hits you has a bull-dog insurance agent… you’re going to need it!!

A member of my family was critically injured in a car accident. Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz did everything they could do to assist us against the greedy insurance companies who did not want to compensate her for her medical bills. Forget about paying for her pain and suffering. Wake up people! Insurance companies run the world. I feel sorry for those haters who think that this firm causes frivilous lawsuits. It is because insurance companies, for which we all pay premiums, fail to do what they promise they will do if you buy their policy. By the way, we already have tort reform—thanks to the damn insurance companies. Educate yourself before you make comments like this. Some day, you too, make need a lawyer to help a loved one, regardless of who you choose, you will have the same problem.

I find it very interesting to see a business looking for ways to assist their clients. When I was in an accident, although I did not seek representation it was a very traumatic experience. I would find it helpful to have a tool that could assist me in remembering dates, names and other information about the incident. I think some people let their personal biases get in the way of good ideas.

I love the Tiger!! I don’t care none what you all say about them. Unless you are in a situation where you are hurt, you don’t know what you would do. I was seriously injured back 2001 and my insurance company was gonna leave me high and dry. I lost my job when I got hurt and the Tiger helped me get money to pay my medical bills and keep my house!!! I didn’t know how to fight the big insurance co. and their wicked ways, but that firm stood by my side until the whole mess was over with. Thank you Attorney Mann and the whole staff for the hard work and dedication to my case. Bet you if you are hurt the first number you call is 1-800-injured. Mmmmhmmm

Judging from a lot of the hateful and spite filled comments, a lot of people in the Miami Valley need to get laid.

I was recently in an accident. I did not think I needed an attorney until the insurance adjuster tried make a quick settlement offer to me. I was tempted to take it as I was losing pay from work, piling up medical bills and couldn’t pay my personal bills. The insurance company makes it look like they care. This was my own company as the person who hit me did not have insurance. Once I became an accident victim, my insurance company no longer treated me like a customer but a claim. All I want is to get my bills paid and move on with my life. I feel like they want me to take this quick settlement because times are tough and they can save money. I finally contacted Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz who are guiding me through this process and making me feel less like I have done something wrong and are standing up for my rights.

Like it or not, DGMS uses the law to get the most $$ for its clients, just as insurance companies do, both sides are expert at using and manipulating law for the benefit of their client. The problem is not with a law firm, or insurance company, it is a legal system that is not designed to do the right and honest thing by the people it is supposed to protect, it is a legal system designed by agenda driven politicians governed by money. All to detriment of its citizens.

The “Tiger” takes 25% off the top of any settlement you receive. Further, if your case goes to suit that jumps to 33% + any expenses they incur. Should it go to trial the amount one receives from settlement is about 48% of the award after expenses and the “Tiger’s” cut. Assume for a moment you have a claim whose value exceeds policy limits. The “Tiger” still takes its cut. In wrongful death cases which obviously exceeded policy limits the “Tiger” sends a letter of representation followed by a demand for settlement letter and make settlement, take their cut and leave the people with substantially less than if they would have handled it themselves. Now whose greedy? For those of you who are always condemning the rich, particularly those who actually produce something, why don’t you go by the homes of the managing partners of the “Tiger”, consider who pays for all their advertising, their thousands of clients and their offices in the high rent district. Then consider this - this is all bought and paid for with your insurance premiums because that is where insurance companies get their money. They can’t print it like the government.

Last week, the Texas legislature passed a “loser pays” law to prevent frivolous law suits. Ohio should follow Texas lead in tort reform. Away with the parasites.

DGMS does a wonderful job helping their clients. This is just another tool to assist those that need their help. DGMS is the BEST personal injury law firm in the greater Dayton area. For all the naysayers, you are the fool if you look for representation elsewhere or better yet try and handle it yourself. There is a reason for this type of attorney. Everyone is a wise guy until it happens to them.

Tort reformers and frivolous law suit complainers are examples of what marketing has done to “dumb-down” America. It truly shows ignorance for people to think that the court system is tilted towards regular individuals instead of business and insurance. How sad is it that the anger is directed at people that have been victims instead of the people causing the harm? Do we really live in a society today that people think there should be no consequences to actions anymore? Wake up America — you are losing your rights more and more. Unless you have someone that will be able to fight for the little guy, there will be no justice left. Frivolous lawsuits are not what insurance companies are afraid of and are definitely NOT going to be helped by tort reform. My GOD — don’t you people know anything about the legal world?
