Dayton runner wants to buy a new car with “Millionaire” winnings
We will find out Friday if a Dayton man becomes a millionaire.
Steve Carson will appear on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” Friday.
The Emmy Award-winning game show hosted by Meredith Vieira, Millionaire airs at 7:30 p.m. on ABC-22 (WKEF).
Carson, a production supervisor for a playing card company and a part-time employee of Ikea, graduated from Roth High School in 1982 and is the son of William Carson and the late Exie Carson.
The 47-year-old father of three and his wife LaRhonda visited New York for the taping of the hit show.
An avid runner, Carson hoped to use money he won on the show to buy a new car to tour the country with his family, according to a publicist for the show.
The car he currently drives is 15 years old and its odometer reads a little over 260,000 miles.

He should go to Airport Toyota and buy a car from a guy there named Ron. He gave me the best deal on a great new car. I was told to ask for him because he knocked thousands off of a car for my friend and then did the same for me. So even if Steve doesn’t win a million dollars he can go to that guy and buy a really good car for a lot less money than anywhere else.

Nice try “Bob”. Anyone still negotiating in person at a dealer with a salesperson is a fool. Use the internet and get multiple dealers’ internet reps in a bidding battle to really get a good deal. And someone wants to take winnings and spend it on a new car? Wow that certainly is news I never would have expected.
