Project Runway season eight “Mondo” star to judge WSU contest
Mondo Guerra, Lifetime Television’s “Project Runway” season eight runner-up, will lend his judging skills to Wright State University as part of the University Activities Board’s second annual Project Runway 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. tonight in the Student Union Atrium.
The challenge will have teams of three to four students construct garments from “everything but fabric,” organizers said.
Judges will award prizes. The exact nature of those prizes is a closely guarded secret.
Before the competition begins, there will be a meet and greet with Guerra. He will also speak to the audience about his battle with HIV.
The event is free and open to the public.
