Guided by Voices to play at Dublin Pub
Dayton rockers Guided by Voices will hit the Oregon District March 16 for a rare hometown concert.
The indie band will preform at Dublin Pub, 300 Wayne Ave, with Dirty Socialites as part of an event dubbed “St. Practice Day.”
The show is set to start at 7 p.m. GBV go on at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The “classic” GBV line up will be featured - Robert Pollard (vocals), Tobin Sprout (guitar), Charles “Mitch” Mitchell (guitar), Greg Demos (bass) and Kevin Fennel (drums). They will play GBV songs recorded between 1992-1996 from the albums Propeller, Bee Thousand, Alien Lanes and Under The Bushes, Under The Stars, according to the website fla.vor.us

Bob must have finally manned-up & apologized, the last time GBV played the Pub he drunkenly tried to beat down one of the owners with a bottle because the kitchen closed before his trainwreck/girlfriend could order food. They swore he’d never be invited back. Lookin forward to the show.
