“Real Housewife of New York” to visit area
UPDATE:
The event featuring Jill Zarin of the “Real Housewives of New York” has been canceled due to low ticket sales, said Alisa Nelligan of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton.
A bona-fide ‘real housewife’ is coming to town and she’s bring her mom and sister along for the ride.
Jill Zarin of Bravo Tv’s hit reality show “The Real Housewives of New York,” her mother Gloria Kamen and sister Lisa Wexler will dish about their book, “Secrets of a Jewish Mother ($26, Dutton) ” 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at the Boonshoft Center for Jewish Culture and Education, 525 Versailles Drive, Centerville.
Don’t pretend like you don’t secretly love the show.
The event is presented by the Lion of Judah and Women’s Philanthropy for Tzedakah. Tickets are $25 or $50 with the book.
The book deals with topics ranging from friendships to finances.
After the talk, the opinionated women - all of whom have appeared on the show - will sign books and schmooze with audience members. For more information, call Alisa Nelligan at (937) 610-1555, ext. 111.
