Vehicle to hit town in search of eye and organ donations
From staff writer Kim Margolis
Life Connection of Ohio has a new tool in its efforts to increase organ and eye donation in Ohio.
The Donate Life Education Vehicle is a $200,000 truck which will travel 23 counties in southwestern Ohio to encourage people to sign up - on the spot - to donate organs after death.
The vehicle will offer interactive demonstrations on what it’s like to go through life with eye disease and to show what organs can be donated. It will also include stories of people who have received donated organs.
Currently, 3,000 people in Ohio are waiting for organ transplants. For more information, go to DonateLifeOhio.org.

I have been signed up to be a donor for the past several years. I think if most people would do this we could give so much to people in need. If I needed an organ I would be thrilled to know someone cared enough to donate their organs. I hope they get lots of people to sign up while they are in Ohio.
