Reusing bags can save you money at Kroger
Here’s a little known fact: reusing bags can help you save money while Krogering.
I realized this while shopping at the Kroger on Wayne Avenue when a cashier gave me 3 cents off my bill for each of my reusable shopping bags.
Kroger has been offering the deal for at least a decade as part of its green initiative, according to public affairs manager Rachael Betzler.
Almost any type of bag - paper, plastic, clothe, etc - is eligible.
Up until last year, the deal was 5 cents off, Betzler said. Kroger also offers bins to recycle plastic bags.
Who knew?
What do you think?

I think people will carry in their own bags fill them with food and then walk out the door looking like someone that just left the cashier with a cart full of groceries(free of course)I actually saw a person do this told the Manager, I’ll look into it was the response instead of following and asking for her receipt. allowed it to happen. And who pays for all the stolen items, the honest patrons in higher prices.
