Boyd, 18, of Botkins lost the America’s Favorite Dancer title and the $250,000 grand prize Thursday night to Lauren Froderman.

I was really upset that Kent didn’t win. I know that I called in and voted 54 times for him. I would have really liked for him to have won. He is an absolutely beautiful dancer and he has a long future ahead of him. What great poise and beauty and what a great opportunity for him to share that with so many people across the country. I wish him luck in all he does.

Really enjoyed SYTYCD this season. Kent was a delight and a huge talent. The sky is the limit for Lauren and Kent.
