More than 20,000 support ‘Deadliest Catch’ captain’s push to be on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

New rule for the 21st century: if there’s a cause, there is a Facebook page for it.

And why should it matter if the thing being supported is getting a crab fishing boat captain on a dance competition show.

More than 20,000 people have tossed their support to Captain Sig Hansen’s push to be on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Hansen is a key player on the Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch.”

A few months ago, Hansen told a reporter and later “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno that he liked the show and would like to be on it.

See a video of Hansen discussing the show here.

Do you think Hansen should get on the show?

What do you think?

Amelia, When referring to people, the correct use is “their”, not “there”.

April: Before correcting someone else’s writing - make sure you READ it correctly. No where in this blurb is there anything that ties to a person that would require “their”. As a matter of fact, “there” only appears twice, once in the singular and once in the plural (“there’s” - as in there is a cause).

@mr. e, my guess is Amelia went back in and corrected her mistake. I’ve gone back into to articles later on and information has changed.
