Beer Fest for charity
Here where drinking beer can be helpful.
Mike and Donna Schwartz of Belmont Party supply have teamed with the Resident Home Association in planning the first Miami Valley Beer Fest 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Roundhouse at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 1043 South Main St., Dayton.
Participating businesses include Cavalier Distributing, Heidelberg Distributing Company, Premium Beverage Supply, P.S. Creative, Boston’s Bistro, Chappy’s Tap Room, Dublin Pub, The Filling Station, Harrigan’s Tavern, Pizza Factory, South Park Tavern, The Pub and The Trolley Stop.
Tickets are $35 and available at Belmont Party Supply, 2621 S Smithville Road, Dayton, and participating bars and restaurants.
The event will feature craft beers and barley wines.
All proceeds from the event will benefit The Resident Home Association, a non-profit agency that provide residential services and supports for people with developmental disabilities in Montgomery County.
