Are your wheels hot? List of the most stolen vehicles in the state

It seems Ohio car thieves love taking their kids to soccer practice.

The 2000 Dodge Caravan tops the National Insurance Crime Bureau’s 2009 “Hot Wheels” for vehicles most targeted by thieves in Ohio.

The 1994 Honda Accord tops the list nationwide ( see other results below.)

The bureau released the list of most stolen cars on Monday, Aug. 24.

The report is based on data reported to the National Crime Information Center.

For 2007-2008, the most commonly stolen vehicles in Ohio were:

3. 1996 Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee
4. 1994 Buick Century
5. 1997 Ford Taurus

10. 2002 Ford Explorer
