Jackson’s music videos to be screened again at Little Art

Didn’t get to see Michael Jackson at the Little Art Theatre July 3?

Don’t fret.

The King of Pop will live again on the big screen at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the theater located at 247 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs.

So many people showed up when the theater showed Michael Jackson hits at 11 p.m. on Friday that an overflow screening was set up for 1 a.m.

“As the world mourns the loss of this enigmatic icon, we wanted to pay tribute to his remarkable talent,” said Little Art owner Jenny Cowperthwaite Ruka said in a press release.

The event is free, but donations are welcome.

More than a dozen videos, including uncut versions of “Thriller,” “Bad,” “The Way You Make Me Feel.” “Smooth Criminal,” and the uncensored version of “Black or White” will be showcased.

What do I think about the first lady wearing shorts? I think about her the same as I would about any lady- wear what’s appropriate for the situation and for the person’s individual body. She does not have attractive legs- her shorts were too short. She is on vacation at what I would guess is a very hot location. She should have worn something that would have been attractive on her body. ie, a little sundress- my 33 year old daughter wears them all the time- or a pair of walking shorts. She was showing way too much leg above the knees! Thanks for this opportunity to respond. betty king.

We have a young first lady with a young family. How many people have you seen at the Grand Canyon in a sundress? For a woman her age and for the shape she is in she looked great and appropriately dressed for the occasion.

She was dressed appropriately for the occasion. She was in a national park, walking, and it was hot. To those who are upset: Leave the First Lady alone. She has enough real problems to deal with—such as the “Death to Obama, Michelle and their daughters” signs at a recent so-called town hall meeting about health care.

I could see if she was wearing a bathing suit, she was at a national park. Give me a break the first lady has class, stop all the hating.

I don’t understand the big todo about the President’s jeans or the First Lady wearing shorts on vacation. When on vacation and sightseeing, you wear what is comfortable. As for the President’s jeans, they were better looking than most jeans people pay $50 & more (faded & torn) and they wear them anywhere, even church.

I was disappointed not to be able to meet Lorraine Massey last night at the Greene. Is she available to contact? I am 60 and have long hair and was looking for a better style since the length pulls out the wave and curl I often exhibit. I have not found many stylists who understand what to do with my hair. It is always risky. Any suggestions? Thank you.
