Go Red today for women’s heart health
Today, red is the new black.
Wear a red dress. Wear a red shirt. Wear a red pin.
Whatever you do, don’t forget to wear red today, Feb. 6.
Today is National Wear Red Day. Show support for the Go Red for Women campaign and American Heart Month 2009.
The local event kicked off Thursday with Dayton Goes Red sponsored by the Kettering Medical Center.
One in three women has cardiovascular disease, and every minute one woman dies as a result of this health threat, the American Heart Association says.
The education campaign intents to save lives.
