CBS News: Dayton native most successful online jingle writer
Dayton native Joel Moss Levinson was called the Internet’s most successful jingle writer in a segment that air on “CBS News with Katie Couric”; Thursday, Jan. 8. See the news segment below. Levinson’s interview starts at 1:28.
The 28-year-old son of “Dayton Daily News” reporter Meredith Moss has won more than $200,000 in cash and prizes since he began entering online contest about a year ago.
His 35 low budget, but snappy homemade videos have even earned him trips to numerous exotic locals. The college drop out has been a guest on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” and featured in a New York Times front page article.
Levinson most recently won an electric car by being named The Game Factory’s “King of Cubicles” for a video in which he proved he can protect “you” from dragons. See the dragon video, one of Levinson’s favorites, below.
