Friday specials include free Starbucks and cookies; movies for cheap
Amazon, DealHack and Wallet Pop have teamed up (in a sense) this fine Friday, Oct. 2, to inform us all of some great deals available.
Wallet Pop, one of my all-time favorite consumer/bargain sites, lists its Five Fabulous Finds each Friday. And today’s are especially sweet.
Among today’s Wallet Pop deals are routes to get a free tall brewed coffee at Starbucks, free Great American Cookies (since it is National Cookie Month after all), Halloween coupon books from Wendy’s and more.
Over at Amazon, there is the weekly Friday deal-fest. And, as usual, DealHack has a good rundown of the deals as well, which include Pike Street 100 percent Egyptian Cotton 6-piece towel set marked down 84 percent — the set is originally $130; today it is $21.
Amazon’s Gold Box and lightning deals today are for MartinLogan Helos 20 In-Wall Speakers (originally $399, now $149) and a Barbra Streisand Box Set (originally $74.85, now $22.36).
The movies in the Babs box set include “For Pete’s Sake,” “Funny Girl,” “Funny Lady,” “Mirror Has Two Faces,” “The Way We Were, and “Prince of Tides.”
Also on the movie front at Amazon (via DealHack) is a deal on DreamWorks animated movies on DVD.
“Kung Fu Panda” is $10, “Shrek” is $11, “Madagascar — Escape 2 Africa” is $10, “Over The Hedge” is $11 and “Bee Movie” is $11. This movie deal is good through Oct. 10.
