‘Dancing with the Stars’ -Who goes home? Got any ideas?
With only six couples left, the competition is heating up and tonight’s show was one of the best this season.
Early season favorite Gilles Marini is fighting a shoulder injury and while still a great dancer, he seems to have lost a little of his dancing edge, although tonight’s performance was pretty hot.
On a side note - I wonder how you get picked to sit directly behind Tom Bergeron?
Lil’ Kim and Derek got the crowd on their feet with an outstanding Pasa Doble.
The dazzling dancing continued with Chuck Wicks & Julianne Hough each bringing their A game to tonight’s show.
And then… it was Shawn Johnson & Mark Ballas’s turn on the dance floor - solid performance, but far from their best.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Melissa Rycroft suffered an injury forcing the judges to judge the rehearsal performance - OUCH! It’s really amazing to see what a difference the live crowd has on the overall performance.
Ty Murray & Chelsie Hightower are attempting to step-up their game this week by giving Ty a spray tan - While it didn’t make Ty the best dancer ever it did - except for that ending - that was dreadful. What will they do next week?
The team dances tonight - first up - Team Mambo - stolid performance. The men pulled a crowd pleaser by using tear away pants exposing white leotards and a onesie. - 25 points.
Team tango - not to be outdone - the Ty and Gilles came out shirtless - predictable. It’s hard to compare the teams when they are each dancing a different style of dance with different music - I’d say team Tango - rocked it. Will the judges agree? - 28

Melissa is a shoo-in. She had ballet lessons. Ty and Chuck have really stepped out of their comfort zones and made the most improvements..Melissa should have gone.

I just watched the Results show. It was sad to see Chuck go, but Melissa really deserved to stay. She really is one of the top dancers this time around. Go Melissa!
