Survivor: Tocantins - Being pretty isn’t enough - Episode 7 Recap Update
After a three-week break, Survivor is back. In usual fashion, the tribes are shown living their daily camp site lives. Of course, the producers focus on the most caustic of the players - this week the focus is once again on Coach.
Tonight’s (April 2) crazy Coach moment focused on cooking beans. Apparently, Coach likes his beans well done some of the tribe mates are complaining that the beans taste like Charcoal Coach isn’t winning any friends.
The Reward Challenge - Ceramic Pig Toss Each tribe will have five minutes to build a barricade inside the other tribe’s barricade and then toss ceramic pigs through the barricades.
Timbira wins the reward challenge and enjoys a barbeque at a waterfall and after 15 days, I’ll bet everything had amazing flavor.
Joe chooses Errinn to head off with him to Exile Island and the two compare notes and figure out where the immunity idol may be hidden.
Taj and Steven know that Joe and Errinn are likely to have figured out the clues for the immunity idol and work to create and hide a fake idol. Meanwhile J.T. discovers the real immunity idol, forcing Steven and Taj to tell J.T. forming a three-way alliance.
Immunity Challenge - Sling Shots, tiles, puzzles and sand. The tribe mates use a sling shot to break a tile , that when broken, allows sand to flow and the puzzle pieces to be released. When all three bags of puzzle pieces are released, the puzzle is assembled. And the winner is Timbira! This means that Jalapao will be sending another tribe member home.
The real challenge on tonight’s show was all about who goes home from Jalapao. Will it be Taj or will it be Sydney? After much back and forth, I get the sense that it will be Sydney.
So in the end, being pretty isn’t enough to save anyone on Survivor and Sydney is voted off.
Based on the previews for the next episode, the tribes merge. The next question in my mind, is whether or not Taj as built a strong enough alliances to stay around for a few more weeks.

Auf wiedersehen Bravo - Hello Lifetime!
Thanks to a settlement agreement stitched together by NBC Universal/Bravo, the Weinstein Company and Lifetime TV, the long lost Season 6 of ‘Project Runway’ will air later this summer.
Whether or not this is a win for the ‘Project Runway’ faithful remains to be seen, however this is certainly a win for the designer hopefuls whose fate has been tied up in legal wranglings.
While Bravo is losing Runway and all the fun hot tranny messes and fierce competitions, its replacement series, ‘The Fashion Show’, is set to start May 7.
Two questions remains for us fans…. will the new series live up to ‘Project Runway’ and what channel is Lifetime on anyway?
In the words of Tim Gunn, ‘Project Runway’s’ host… make it work!
Are you looking forward to a new season of ‘Project Runway’ and the new series ‘The Fashion Show’?
