Dancing with the Stars; it’s the 7th week

It’s week 7 and I have one question about tonight’s show (Nov. 3) - will Cloris Leachman really be back? While she may return, this time it will have to be as an audience member since she and her dance partner were voted off last week.

Tonight’s show will feature one new element, a team dance competiton where competitors will turn teammates and share the resulting score.

Tongiht’s show.

Warren Sapp & Kym Johnson

Tonight’s dance - The Fox Trot It didn’t seem as though Warren’s found his grove back.

Judges Comments

Len Goodman - 7 - It wasn’t a classic fox trot. It wasn’t your best dance.

Bruno Tonioli - 7 - After the promising beginning… the technique went into recession

Carrie Ann Inaba - 7 - You were not performing the normal Warren. Total Score 21 out of 30

Susan Lucci & Tony Dovolani

Tonight’s dance - Pasa Doble Where they just

Judges Comments

Len Goodman - 8 - I thought that was up with your best dances.

Bruno Tonioli -8 - Well Done.

Carrie Ann Inaba - 8 - You struggled with your power on the floor. Total Score 24 out of 30

Maurice Greene & Cheryl Burke

Tonight’s dance - Cha Cha Before the dance tonight, we learn of yet another injury. Maurice hyper extended his leg. Their version of the Cha Cha was unlike anything I’ve seen before on DWS.

Judges Comments

Len Goodman - 9 - It was like cheap jewelry… dazzling.

Bruno Tonioli -8 - happy days are here again for Maurice.

Carrie Ann Inaba -8 - It’s nice to see you bring your A game. Total Score 25 out of 30

Cody Linley & Edyta (in for Julianne Hough who is recovering)

Tonight’s dance - Viennese Waltz It is so hard to take him seriously with that smile. Overall it was a pretty good effort considering.

Judges Comments

Len Goodman -7 - didn’t look too comfortable doing the Viennese Waltz

Bruno Tonioli - 7 - It was like watching a fledgling bird… not quite able to take off.

Carrie Ann Inaba - 8 - I thought it was great. Total Score 22 out of 30

Lance Bass & Lacey Schwimmer

Tonight’s dance - Rumba Before the dance gets underway, we get to see just how tense the behind the scene moments are getting as the season progresses. DRAMA! The couple is Dancing barefoot! This might be a Dancing with the Stars first. My guess is that Len won’t like it. I thinkg the did a great job… BTW Kathy Griffin is in the audience.

Judges Comments

Len Goodman - 7 - I didn’t get it.

Bruno Tonioli - 9 - Barefoot in the park has never been more romantic or seductive…

Carrie Ann Inaba - 9 - That was fantastic! Your best dance. Total Score 25 out of 30

Brooke Burke & Derek Hough

Tonight’s dance - Foxtrot So far, they are on pace fort he one of the best performances of the season - the costumes don’t hurt either. It was heard to tell she was nursing an injury.

Judges Comments

Len Goodman - 10 - It became more than the sum of its parts.

Bruno Tonioli - 10 - …beautiful performance from start to finish.

Team Paso Doble Consisting of Brooke Burke & Derek Hough - Maurice Greene & Cheryl Burke - Warren Sapp & Kym Johnson

Tonight’s dance - Paso Doble What a difference a team makes - What a fun way to end the show… this has to close to an all 10 performance.

I think Susan has had more than her chance to shine. She needs to go.

Brooke is simply amazing and I’ll be stunned if she doesn’t win it all. I also like her, she has appeared gracious and sweet. I’m starting to really like Maurice too. Warren wasn’t as good this week, but he’s got something special on the floor. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Cody going home this week, but I hope not as I would like to see Julianne come back first! Lance was wonderful to me this week, and I liked the no shoes thing. So I guess for me, I want Susan to go home. She’s been the least engaging for me all season. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed this season!
