Rejected Idol - Previously rejected elsewhere. American Idol: Latest Update

Last night’s (Apr 23) American Idol reject, Carly Smtihson, should be just fine. While the results were shocking to most of us who’ve been following the show the singer is likely to land on her feet singing when this is all over.

It appears this is the first go round for Smithson. In 2001, Smithson, released an album under the name Carly Hennessy called “Ultimate High.” The album is a mixture of folk pop vibe with country lyrics. The Album is on YouTube if you really like her work (See Below).

Several posters to this blog hav emade several references to the “ringers” that are finalists this season. It is easy to forget many of these contestants are vying for their second chance at fame…

Here’s the video from the album.

Why does it matter if she has tattoos or not? It really bothers me when people point things out like that, if she’s talented then she’s talented….it’s really none of anyone’s business if she decides to cover her body with art….

I still would like to know what Ryan and Carly were talking about during Syesha’s performance. I thought it was extremely rude, and apparently the cameraman thought so, also, because he panned right on their conversation during her performance Wednesday night.

Marge, it wasn’t Brooke who was singing, it was Syesha, and I agree, that was rude, but I don’t agree with Carly going home last night.

Perhaps if she had sung like this she may still be on Idol, also it would have helped had she not had those tattoos up and down her arm..Gross on a woman…

Did you see Carly last night when Brooke was singing? Her and Ryan were carrying on a conversation and laughing. HOW RUDE! She deserved to go.

I don’t really care for this song that much, but I agree that Carly will end up OK. (Notice she didn’t have the tattoos back then.)
