Is “Kid Nation” a “Traffic Accident?
The DVR decided I really didn’t want to watch “Kid Nation” which aired Wednesday (Sep 19). So I’m at a loss as to what to think about the show.
The L.A. Times said of the show, ‘Kid Nation’ is artificially arranged, but adorable.”
The Boston Globe said, “There’s not much fun in ‘Kid Nation’.”
The Denver Post noted the show was a “Traffic Accident.”
I hope the re-run the show at some point so I could offer my two cents.
Did you see the show? Tell us about it.

I watched the first half. I hated it. It made me feel really sorry those kids. What would be so “entertaining” about watching kids who are not mature or emotionally ready to be in charge taking care of themselves and others. I found nothing endearing about watching 8 year olds cry for their families. And older kids telling the younger ones, “I’ll substitute for your mom and dad”. How twisted!
