How low can you go, ABC?

First to go: So long, Paulina
I thought Shandi Finnesi (the epitome of all things American) would be booted … she was stiffer than Paulina Porizkova. But she’s a knock out, right? Perhaps, America just loves the way she looks.

Best quote: “I guess my fan base was my family and they were not extensive enough,” Porizkova said.

Pointless. Frustrating. A waste of time
The elimination show. Give me a break. This is the most insulting thing I’ve ever seen from reality TV. It’s an utter waste of time. The results show needs to go. U gather up this huge audience for Dancing with the Stars and you have them sitting around for just commercials and poop. I’m ashamed to admit I even watched it. The results show was a really weak show to go on for an hour … if this is how ABC wants to squander a LIVE audience then to hell with’em, I’ll start watching ‘Idol!’

Blackout No, I’m not talking about what you think … there was an actual black out for about a minute at the end of the show. @#$@? How can you build up to this cheesy poof of an elimination show and tick off viewers with technical difficulties?

What about you?
Who did you think was gonna go first? Paulina and her partner (Alec Mazo) didn’t have the lowest score, by the way.

Your voting: It looks like Paulina and Alec weren’t who most of you voted for on our online poll. Billy Ray took that award hands down. I’m having a change of heart for old Billy Ray (wannabee Keith Urban) Cyrus. He’s providing great comedy. So, when he actually dances well, America loves it. As for Clyde “too tall to tango” Drexler, I don’t know. Loved the man as an NBA player, but I’m feeling sorry for him dancing. He seems to be strugglin’ bad. But I think he gives giants everywhere something to hope for. I mean, let’s see you grow to 6’7”/6’9” and try to dance the quick step. LOL!

The wasting of Dionne Warwick
Oh, and the performance by Warrick was great. But they presented her to us on a trash can lid. You have this great guest performer and your production for your elimination show sucks. What a waste. I would have rather experienced the stars and their partners dancing to Warrick’s music than the professionals. ABCs gonna ruin this, just you wait and see. They are gonna force me to watch American Idol. And I do NOT want to do that.

The show was a waste of an hour. It has nothing to do with the participants. They pretty much stretched something that could easily be done in less than 30 minutes into an hour that was not only not very interesting, but a waste of the huge following they have.

I agree that the voting was as fan-based as in previous years, but I’m not sure what has you so insulted. Was it the fact that they worked so hard to give Clyde a very short partner? Or that so many of their celebrities are either has-beens or never-were’s? Or that they fauned at such LONG lengths over Lady Mucca who somehow has the courage to live? Inquiring minds want to know.

I agree it was a waste of time… they could very easily do the results show in 30 minutes. Dionne was great though; maybe they could have squeezed out 3-4 minutes to actually speak to her about dancing… or singing!! Hope they make some improvements; they have so much fill time on this show, seems there must be a better way to fill the time.
