Tim Gunn + Liz Claiborne - Project Runway - Tim = ?

Well change in the air for Tim Gunn. For some weeks now speculation has been swirling regarding whether Tim would be appearing in the next season of Project Runway 4. On Thursday, the picture got a little clearer when Liz Claiborne announced Tim would be joining the company as its creative director starting in early March.

Since 2004, Tim has been appearing as “Project Runway’s” mentor to the next hot - fashion designer wannabe. A few weeks ago, it was announced that Tim would be staring in his own show on Bravo called ”Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style.”

Tim won the hearts of millions of reality TV fans with the clever application of his extensive vocabulary and his soft-spoken style including one his trademark lines, “carry on” and “Make it work” The producers of project runaway are suggesting that Tim will be back for another season, although no contract has been signed. Contract or not, it would seem that Tim schedule is already pretty full without another season of the show.

For the moment, it appears that Tim Gunn might just be fashion world’s hottest commodity.

Will you watch project runway without Tim Gunn as this shows mentor?

It depends on who comes in next. Tim has a way of dealing with the designers that I like; he seems to be critical only in a helpful way. If a new person comes in, and is more confrontational, then I’d likely not watch it.
