Beautifully elegant and sexy hot on Dancing with the Stars to the extreme.

This week the assigned dances were the Waltz and the Paso Doble.

Monique Coleman and Louis Van Amstel

They talked about Louis’ unconventional teaching methods and they surely worked as far as I’m concerned. I loved Monique’s comment about how it is harder to move people than wow people. So true. I thought this was an absolutely magical waltz. It gave me chills. As he kissed her teary check and said “I love you I completely fell in love with Louis.

Judges score: 24 out of 30 (I think they deserved more, but they were first)

Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke

First of all, I love the traditional music they choose instead of trying to fit the Paso Doble to a pop song. Emmitt knew all the steps but I couldn’t help but feel that he was either holding back or just couldn’t quite BE the bull fighter. But I must say the most powerful Paso Doble I have ever seen was on this last season of So You Think You Can Dance so I have a very high standard.

Judges score: 24 of 30

Willa Ford and Maksim Chmerkovskiy

A non-dancing comment…I much prefer Maks hair short to that extreme greased back long pony tail look he had at the start of the season and also in the credits of the show. You do know that everyone is saying these two are dating don’t you? Carrie Ann called Willa elegant and I would have to agree. They were awesome.

Judges score: 28 out of 30

Sara Evans and Tony Dovolani

Sara looked stunning tonight and for me the music of Phantom of the Opera is moving all on its own. However, Tony said something about Sara being a nice girl doing a mean dance and that’s what she looked like to me, a sweet country girl that tried to look serious and, and, mean?. Sara, you’re a wonderful singer, but it’s time to go home honey.

Judges score: 20 out of 30

Jerry Springer and Kym Johnson

I’ve never been a Jerry Springer the talk show host fan, but Jerry Springer the father is pretty cool. I could so see him dancing with his daughter the bride. I loved their choice of music in the Tennessee Waltz. Jerry and Kym looked like the couple in a music box dancing ‘round in circles. Maybe not the most proficient, but beautiful nonetheless. I agree that it was the best dance he has done so far. I think Jerry may be physically done with this, but I think he stays this week and someone else goes home.

Judges score: 22 out of 30

Vivica A. Fox and Nick Kosovich

Vivica drives me a bit crazy sometimes speaking about herself in the third person each week in the clips prior to the dance. Argh! I really want to like her dancing because I love her as an actress, but I could feel her going “1 2 3 4, 1 2 3 4 in her head through the entire dance.

Judges score: 24 out of 30

Joey Lawrence and Edyta Sliwinska

Edyta needed a more elegant gown than she had for the waltz. Just a personal observation. Joey was really good but it just wasn’t as emotional as Monique or Jerry’s waltzes were for me. But I’m glad they got really good scores.

Judges score: 27 out of 30

Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff

Mario was steaming hot this week and I agree there was wildness about his Paso Doble that was okay with me. Hot, hot, hot! He embodied the Latin lover in that dance. Mario had his sexy serious bull fighter face on through most of the dance and then at the end there were those dimples. Sigh.

Judges score: 29 out of 30

Let’s see, I think my favorite “stars” tonight would have to be Mario and Monique. And Jerry and Willa. And Joey. Okay, so I liked a bunch of them. I honestly think that Sara Evans will be going home tomorrow night. Can’t wait to see what happens.

At this point, anyone willing to go out on a limb and predict the two finalists? The winner? I’m going to say Willa and Mario with Mario winning. Or possibly Joey and Vivica (the judges love her) with Joey winning. Or…

Maxsim is married, so it would be kind of hard for him to be dating Willa.

I agree with Socialwrkr…. I believe that the final four will be Mario, Joey, Monique and Willa. At this point there is no telling who will take it all. I will say to the men don’t count the girls out of this race. As the weeks go on the girls connect more with their partners and they could easily change the conclusion of this contest within a blink of an eye.

I think Sara will go home tonight. They really have a pretty good group of dancers at this point. I’m not a fan of Jerry Springer myself but did enjoy him last night. I would venture he’ll go home next week. I think the final four will be Monique, Joey, Mario and Willa, with Joey winning it all. Of course, I reserve the right to change my mind weekly!
