Harry’s tango not enough on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

I never expected Harry Hamlin to go this week. I thought he probably had a larger fan base especially given that his wife went so much farther last season. I’ve never been impressed and am glad he got canned this week, but there is that lingering Jerry Springer thing. Well he wanted to stay long enough to learn the Waltz for his daughters wedding and that he will.

Next week, the dancers learn either the Waltz or the Paso Doable. Let’s see what will Mario dance? The Paso Doable of course and I would bet he’ll be hot and will not try any tricks again. Joey Lawrence? I think he knows that Mario is his biggest male competition, if not the biggest competition period, and my bet is he’ll do the Waltz to not only stay away from all that “hip action” but also to stand apart.

I look for Monique, Vivica and Willa to all shine next week as well. I know I’ve not been a series regular but everything I’m reading from critics, fans, and gossips is that this really is the best season so far.

What do you think?

I don’t know if this is the best season or not. I have thoroughly enjoyed every season and have favorites from each one. I think this next week will be a good one, as I LOVE the paso dablo. I agree with your assessments of who will do which dance. I certainly hope that Jerry goes home next! One thing I’m not liking this season is the judges being so, well, judgemental! Often it seems like the ones they don’t have much expectation from gets good remarks and the good dancers get beat up on technicalities.
