A new Season new players - same old Donald

The Apprentice 5 has started this season with much of the same fan fare as in the past… we see Donald trying to impress the Apprentice candidates with his wealth. Everyone boards Donald’s jet as he tells the candidates that someday they too will be as wealthy he is. Really, how many times do we need to see his expensive transportation?

The show is feeling a little stale… Some of the candidates appear to have been chosen just for their caustic factor even if they have an ivy league education. While that can make for outstanding drama, I’m ready for a little more! I’d really love it if Donald and Mark Burnett would take a lesson from Project Runway… there’s a great show, with real creative challenges and drama too!

I’ll still watch this season of the Apprentice but I want more!

Perhaps, after this season, Martha will come back and fire the Donald!

I was intrigued by the Apprentice for the first 3 seasons. I tried to watch last season but got confused as I was also watching MArtha Stewart Apprentice. They needed to switch their people. This year? Not gonna make a special effort to watch. It’s the same old bad hair day with whinier folk. I want to put reality behind me. I don’t like the real world. Give me psychics, ghosts and other supernatural fare.
